Negotiated Rates

On your corporation’s behalf we will negotiate highly competitive air, hotel, and auto rental programs. We will review all of the negotiated savings programs your corporation currently uses, or is planning to implement, and analyze the purchasing practices that brought these programs into existence.

We have been successful in securing air savings ranging from 7% to 40% through negotiated air contracts and securing bulk tickets. Our approach to negotiating volume discounts includes benchmarking competitive terms and conditions for similar airline domestic, international, meetings, and zone contract commitments.

Consolidator Tickets

Supporting your corporation’s ongoing effort to contain travel cost, Hunter World Travel seeks alternatives to the high cost of full economy tickets. The restrictions that airlines place on their discount fares are intended to exclude the corporate travel. We consider domestic consolidators to be a viable option to paying full fare. In many cases we are able to book the requested flights, or at least nonstop alternatives. A last minute nonstop transcon flight is usually $2300, the consolidator price would be approximately $1500-$1600. This represents substantial savings over the full fare. Domestic consolidator tickets are not for every traveler on every trip. These tickets also have restrictions. However, one very big difference is that a 14 day advance and Saturday night is not required. While all consolidator tickets are nonrefundable, restrictions depend on the market and the consolidator’s contract with the airlines. In many cases, you can change the reservation for a fee. Hunter World Travel has established a department to handle all reservations to be booked through our consolidators. As airfares for corporate travel continue to escalate, this option potentially represents considerable savings.

Hunter World Travel Affiliates will help you reduce air travel expenses by reinforcing travel policy during the booking process and by reporting airline volumes through supplier management reports. In addition, we provide the following air savings programs:

• Multi-Client Programs - American Express One offers multi-client programs that aggregate client air volumes to offer you greater savings than you could achieve as an individual purchaser. Multi-client programs generally deliver discounts of 5%-10% on standard corporate fares.
  
  
• Consolidator Programs - Travel Express, our international airfare consolidator program, offers substantial savings on international travel. Savings range 20%-70% on full economy fares. Certain requirements and restrictions apply.

Car Rental and Chauffeured Car Service Savings

Hunter World Travel Affiliates has negotiated nationwide programs with major car rental companies. These nationwide programs were designed to supplement our clients’ existing rental car arrangements. Our rental car program rates, like our Global Hotel Program rates, are best improved in direct negotiation with a promise of your corporation’s market share. We will use our preferred partner status and purchasing database to negotiate the most advantageous programs with any car rental company chosen by your corporation.

• Preferred Car Rental Program - Hunter World Travel offers competitive daily car rental rates with Hertz, Alamo, Avis, and National Car Rental. Our preferred rates include unlimited mileage, free upgrades when available, and membership in preferred rental programs.
